Floyd's Love (“we”, “us”) is a pre-adoption program that helps future dog owners prepare before bringing a dog home. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account details — your name and email address when you register.
• Course progress — which lessons you've completed and your signed pledge.
• Assessment responses — the answers you submit for a personalized breed-match plan.
• Payment details — handled by Stripe; we do not store your card number.
• Pet records — optional information you add about your own pets as a member.

How we use it

• To run your account, track your course progress, and issue your certificate.
• To write and deliver your personalized assessment.
• To process payments and maintain your membership.
• To send service-related emails about your account or requests.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We don't share your assessment responses or pet records with third parties. Your pet and care records are private to your account.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your choices

You can update your account details, delete pet records, or cancel your membership at any time from within the app. To request full data deletion, contact us.

Some pages on Floyd's Love — including our Shop, the product recommendations within lessons, care articles, and breed profiles, and partner services such as online veterinary care (Dutch) — contain affiliate links. Some of these are managed through affiliate networks (for example, Impact). If you click one and sign up or make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products and services we believe are genuinely helpful, and a commission never changes the price you pay. Any purchase or membership is completed on the partner's own site under their terms and privacy policy; we don't receive your payment or card details from those transactions.
